Biographical note
Joanna earned her MSc in biotechnology at the University of Life Science in Warsaw. She obtained her PhD in Mossakowski Medical Research Centre Polish Academy of Sciences where she studied epigenetic mechanisms responsible for aging of human Mesenchymal Stromal Cells. During her work in MMRC PAS and internships in Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and OncoArendi Therapeutics she gained experience in cell biology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, epigenetics and bioinformatics. Her main interest is to explore mechanisms responsible for altered epigenetic landscape in aging and disease.
